Short Biography
He was born on December 30, 1977 in Bogotá, and before his accident he participated in a few murals and created some paintings. During 1998 he was involved in a motor vehicle accident which left him permanently quadriplegic. He later resumes painting and realizes that, in spite of his disability, he could not abandon what he definitely liked the most, painting. Helio is a self-taught artist and has held expositions in some art galleries.
