Short Biography

Babarykin Viktor Aleksandrovitsch was born on 8 May 1965 in the city of Kamensk-
Schachtinsk. From childhood he has been suffering from a severe form of arthrogryposis and is therefore disabled. From 1965 to 1972 he lived at the House of the Child. He finished secondary school and completed a technical training programme to become a typist and received a certificate. In 1994 he made the first attempts at pyrography. Over the years he has had exhibitions at the boarding school, in the city and in the surrounding area. In September 2002 Victor's first personal exhibition was opened at the hall of the poet Wladimir Kalmykov's house museum. He has already received international awards.
