Short Biography
He was born on February 21, 1961 in the City of Medellin. He studied accounting and finance, and also learned the art of jewelry making which helped him to survive for years. Thanks to this job he was able to support his spouse and his two children.
Hernán received a gunshot wound which left him quadriplegic. However, and in spite of his limitation, he continues to teach jewelry making classes and continues to study painting at the National University.
He has been invited within his municipality in Medellin to participate in projects related to disabilities; he displays his work in art galleries and is currently taking private painting classes.
