Short Biography
Clênio was born in Brasília on 23 November 1968. He became quadriplegic at the age of 19 as a result of a diving accident off the dam near Santo Antônio do Descoberto, following which he learned to paint using his mouth. In 2006 he painted for 11 hours without interruption, a distinction which he hopes will earn him a place in the Guinness Book of Records.
