Eros BonaminiOn behalf of the Association of Mouth and Foot Painting Artists of the World (VDMFK/AMFPA) and with great sadness we have to announce, that ourpresident Mr Eros Bonamini died unexpectedly on Sunday, 4 November 2012, at the age of 69. His life was full and characterised by his artistic creations, but also by a high level of responsibility for all members of our association. In Mr Bonamini, we are not only losing an artist and dutiful president, but also a friend and a charismatic personality, who always strove for fairness. In the last few years he gave his time and thoughts almost exclusively to the association. It was his wish to prepare the association for the future, and therefore also give the coming generations of mouth and foot painting artists the chance to participate in it. In these difficult hours of mourning, our thoughts also go out to his wonderful wife Maria Giuseppina Olivieri. She actively supported Mr Bonamini through the years, and therefore enabled his admirable dedication. We are humbled with respect and gratitude by Mr Bonamini’s untiring dedication and very courageous decisions. He will always remain a part of the association, and have a place in our hearts. |
VDMFK Worldwide
The Association of Mouth and Foot Painting Artists of the World, registered society, (VDMFK) supports artists who, due to disability or disease, cannot create their works of art with their hands, but have to use their mouths or their feet. From a small group of 18 mouth and foot painting artists, the VDMFK developed over the course of the years into an association which is active worldwide and already represented in 74 countries of the world with currently about 800 artists.
The milestones of this worldwide active association are described under "Timeline“. Its 50-year existence was duly celebrated in 2007 in Austria's capital city, Vienna.

All mouth and foot painting artists who belong to the association worldwide, are listed under "Artists worldwide". Gain an insight into the life and creative work of these people who achieve outstanding artistic work despite their partly severe physical disabilities.
