Who can belong to the Association?
Any person that has lost the use of their hands and paints by holding the paintbrush with the mouth or with the toes can be a part of the Association, independently of their skin color, race or religion.
There are three categories of associates based on their artistic level: Scholarship grantees, Associate Members and Members with full rights. The majority of artists are admitted initially as scholarship grantees. To go to the next level, grantees have to demonstrate continuous improvement. This is determined by an independent artistic panel.
The jury is comprised of the President of the Association, a member of the Board of Directors and two other renowned artists with no physical disabilities.
The Association is always open to receiving any information related to potential members.
