"No pity allowed!" This has always been the slogan of the Association of Mouth and Foot Painting Artists worldwide (AMFPA) - a motto that is lived consistently in this self-help organization up to the present day.
For more than 50 years the association has been helping and supporting artists who are - due to an impediment or an illness - unable to create their works of art with their hands, but their mouths and feet.
The artistic activities are by no means supposed to be understood as an excuse for earning pittance. The association makes great artistic demands on its members. Special emphasis is placed on the personal abilities and individual talents and not on the artists' physical impediment.
The association acquires the authors' rights for reproducing the pieces of art and sells them worldwide via its publishing partners as art printings, art cards and art calendars. In order to sell the originals, exhibitions are organized all over the world. Acquiring one of these masterpieces, however, is not considered to be a donation; the earnings are given to the association's scholarship holders, members and associated members in the form of scholarships and monthly financial help.
Postal dispatch several times a year
The association's publishing partners send the various products to interested people or potential buyers several times a year. If you received such a consignment that you don't want, we would like to ask you to either pass it on to friends or other acquaintances, or to send it back to the according publishing house.
To make sure you don't receive one of these consignments again, please be so kind and fill in the form below and send it to us. We will immediately forward your cancellation to the responsible publishing partners.
Nevertheless we are looking forward to welcoming you on our web site from time to time, and invite you to have a look at our artists' gallery. Of course you can always acquire a piece of art in our online shop. Please note, however, that the motives might differ slightly from country to country.
